Rowdy Memorial Fund

In January of 2021, The Steel Woods lost its visionary co-founder, brother and dear friend, Jason “Rowdy” Cope.

In honor of Jason’s passion for healing, we have created the Jason “Rowdy” Cope Memorial Fund which will provide aid to individuals struggling with PTSD.

Jason was extremely grateful for organizations such as Musicares and Onsite Workshops which played a huge role in his personal journey to healing. He would often refer to Onsite as the “NASA for mental health”

Jason repeatedly talked about his mission in life being “to carry a torch for healing” for those in need. Through his music, his writing and his plans to put together benefit concerts, he was determined to share his experiences and opportunities with the world.

Since Jason’s passing, we have now made it our mission to carry the torch for healing in his honor. We are committed to working with MusiCares and The Onsite Foundation, to provide financial support for individuals in need of trauma therapies just as Jason envisioned. All funds raised will assist qualified individuals, screened by OnSite, to receive financial relief for the healing treatments needed for PTSD.

This fund is a big Eagle Up for our brother, Jason “Rowdy” Cope’s legacy.
